On Monday, March 24th, IFCA held a recorded discussion with Dr. John Jones of the University of Illinois to discuss Spring 2025 Nutrient Management Considerations. Dr. Jones provided a breakdown of several important topics, including determination of 2025 recommended corn nitrogen fertilizer rates, spring nitrogen timing, and strategies to consider for P & K management.

Reminder about 2,4-D Formulations

This is a reminder that the only two labeled formulations of 2,4-D that can be applied postemergence in 2,4-D-resistant soybean varieties are Enlist One and Enlist Duo. EPA Registers New Herbicide Active Ingredient Glufosinate-P

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is registering a new active ingredient glufosinate-P to control weeds in conventional and glufosinate-resistant field corn, sweet corn, soybean, cotton and canola.
